Vanguard Cohort 001 3 Organizations 30-Day Guided Evaluation

The Signal Audit Vanguard Program

Help define the next generation of operational intelligence.

The Vanguard Program invites a limited number of engineering organizations to evaluate Signal Audit in a live production environment while helping define the future of operational intelligence.

Selected teams receive a guided 30-day deployment, observability integrations, weekly operational reviews, and a final executive findings presentation at no cost.

Not another free software trial.

Engineering teams do not need more telemetry. They need a faster, clearer way to understand what production systems are telling them.

The Vanguard Program gives a small group of engineering organizations the opportunity to deploy Signal Audit against real operational signals while contributing structured feedback that helps shape the platform.

This is a guided operational evaluation—not a self-service trial and not a promotional giveaway. Signal Audit works directly with each participating team throughout the 30-day program.

Built for teams operating production systems.

Vanguard partners should have an active engineering environment, existing observability infrastructure, and a genuine interest in improving operational decision-making.

01

Existing observability

Your team already uses Grafana, Datadog, or both to monitor production systems.

02

Production responsibility

Your engineers are responsible for understanding, investigating, and resolving live operational issues.

03

Operational improvement

Your organization wants to reduce alert-chasing and improve the speed and quality of engineering decisions.

04

Collaborative evaluation

Your team is willing to participate in onboarding, weekly reviews, and structured product feedback.

A complete guided deployment.

Each Vanguard organization receives the platform, integration support, operational reviews, and executive evaluation required to determine whether Signal Audit creates meaningful value.

Standard deployment value $5,000 Vanguard evaluation fee: $0
Signal Audit platform deployment
Slack integration and destination routing
Grafana webhook integration
Datadog webhook integration
Participating-team onboarding
Operational intelligence configuration
Weekly operational review sessions
Usage and findings review
Final executive findings presentation
End-of-evaluation recommendation

Free financially. Not commitment-free.

The Vanguard Program is designed to produce operational evidence, useful product feedback, and a clear purchasing decision. Active participation is required throughout the evaluation.

01

Technical ownership

Assign a technical point of contact who can support integration, validation, and coordination.

02

Integration access

Provide access to the appropriate Slack destination and a Grafana or Datadog webhook connection.

03

Weekly feedback

Participate in one short weekly session to review findings, usage, quality, and product requirements.

04

Final evaluation

Attend a final findings presentation and make a clear decision regarding continuation, extension, or closure.

05

Product learning

Permit Signal Audit to use anonymized operational and product feedback to improve the platform.

Four weeks. One clear decision.

The evaluation follows a structured progression from deployment to operational validation and executive review.

  1. 01

    Week 1

    Deployment

    • Configure Slack delivery
    • Connect Grafana or Datadog
    • Validate webhook authentication
    • Send and confirm test events
  2. 02

    Week 2

    Usage validation

    • Review production signals and findings
    • Assess routing and operational context
    • Gather initial engineer feedback
    • Identify early useful cases
  3. 03

    Week 3

    Operational review

    • Analyze repeated incident patterns
    • Review signal quality and usefulness
    • Identify operational recommendations
    • Document product requirements
  4. 04

    Week 4

    Executive evaluation

    • Summarize usage and findings
    • Assess demonstrated operational value
    • Present recommendations
    • Decide whether to continue or close

Measured against evidence, not promises.

The program evaluates whether Signal Audit creates enough operational and organizational value to justify continued use. Individual outcomes are assessed collaboratively and are not guaranteed.

Operational Evidence

  • Alerts received Volume
  • Alerts successfully analyzed Reliability
  • Findings delivered Coverage
  • Useful or actionable findings Quality
  • Repeated incident patterns Memory
  • Operational recommendations Action

Organizational Evidence

  • Engineering participation Engagement
  • Time required to understand alerts Speed
  • Usefulness in incident review Impact
  • Executive findings usefulness Visibility
  • Operational improvement opportunities Insight
  • Interest in continued use Fit

Operational access requires operational trust.

Security, data handling, and integration requirements are reviewed before an evaluation begins. Exact practices are documented in the evaluation agreement.

01

Data received

Signal Audit processes configured alert payloads and associated operational context. Full application logs are not required for the standard evaluation.

02

Authenticated intake

Grafana and Datadog events are received through authenticated webhook connections associated with the participating organization.

03

AI processing

Configured AI services assist with operational analysis. Data handling and applicable third-party processing are disclosed before deployment.

04

Access control

Customer information is limited to authorized personnel involved in deployment, support, and evaluation activities.

05

Retention

Evaluation data is retained according to the agreed pilot terms and may be removed after the evaluation concludes.

06

Deactivation

Webhook connections and delivery integrations are deactivated if the organization elects not to continue after the evaluation.

Every program ends with a defined outcome.

Continued access is not automatic. Each organization selects one of three paths based on the evidence produced during the evaluation.

Path 01

Continue

Transition into a paid Signal Audit deployment or subscription aligned with the organization’s usage and product tier.

Path 02

Extend

Extend the evaluation only when a defined technical or operational issue prevented the agreed evaluation from being completed.

Path 03

Close

Deactivate integrations, conclude access, address retained data, and deliver the final findings summary without an obligation to purchase.

Frequently asked questions.

Why are only three organizations being accepted?

Signal Audit works directly with every Vanguard organization throughout deployment, review, and evaluation. Limiting the first cohort protects the quality of the program and ensures each team receives meaningful support.

Is there a fee for the 30-day evaluation?

No. Selected Vanguard organizations pay no evaluation fee. The standard deployment value is $5,000, but participation requires active technical involvement, weekly feedback, and a final evaluation meeting.

Do we have to purchase Signal Audit afterward?

No. The organization may continue, extend for a specific technical reason, or conclude the evaluation. There is no obligation to purchase.

Can we evaluate only one observability integration?

Yes. Organizations may evaluate Signal Audit with Grafana, Datadog, or both, depending on their current environment and evaluation goals.

How much engineering effort is required?

The primary technical work involves assigning a point of contact, configuring a webhook connection, validating test events, and attending brief weekly reviews. The final effort depends on the organization’s security and approval process.

Can we stop the evaluation early?

Yes. Either party may conclude the evaluation according to the agreed pilot terms. Integrations will be deactivated and data will be handled according to the evaluation agreement.

Production signals become operational intelligence.

Signal Audit connects production telemetry to a shared intelligence engine that analyzes operational signals, identifies meaningful findings, and delivers context to the teams responsible for making decisions.
